Few of us have the opportunity to start fresh every time we want to change up the look of our room.  By adding a new piece of furniture such as a chair or a sofa you can redesign your room using your existing treasured items to create a fresh look or feeling in your home.  Simply rearranging the furniture in your room (sometimes referred to as staging) is a great place to start and will allow you to take inventory of what you love and what pieces you might want to change.

Some simple tricks for a new look is to add an accent chair to your room and some pillows in a matching funky fabric to your existing sofa. Sometimes a change of wall art can make a room pop make sure you take some samples for colour references when you go looking, the mind does not have a good memory for colour. There are lots of very reasonable area rugs that can really tie the room together. Even on broadloom an area rug defines and area and softens the look.

As great as the internet is to get ideas this is where a knowledgeable sales associate is invaluable to you. They can give you ideas of what is available, building on what you picture for your room. They can show you samples of fabric and maybe come up with several different options and ideas for your consideration. All you need to do is to arrive at your destination armed with pictures and samples of the items you are hoping to keep to incorporate in your new room decor.  Keeping things fresh and new on a budget.
